Commissions
Commission a Piece
Own something made entirely for you — your space, your palette, your story.
Every commissioned piece begins with a conversation. I work closely with each client to understand the space, the mood, and the meaning behind the work — then I build something original in acrylic, heavy texture paste, and hand-embroidered thread that couldn't exist anywhere else.
Commissions are accepted on a limited basis to ensure each piece receives the attention it deserves.
How It Works
|
1 |
Send Your Inquiry A quick email from my contact page or VIA studio@artbyjinalpatel.com with details about your vision: preferred size, any deadlines, your delivery zip code, where you found me, and which of my existing pieces speaks to you. I'll respond within three business days with a price quote and my current lead time. |

Review & Sign If you'd like to move forward, I'll prepare a simple commission contract outlining the scope, timeline, and terms. Once we both sign, it's official! |
|
|
|
|
3 |
Deposit A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in my queue. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the piece ships. |

Mood Board & Color Palette Once I receive your signed contract and deposit, I'll create a digital mood board and color palette for your approval. If you have fabric swatches, paint chips, or inspiration photos — send them my way. I love having these from the start. Final approval from you locks the direction before I begin painting. |

Creation I get to work. Your piece is built in layers — acrylic paint, heavy texture paste, and hand-embroidered thread stitched directly onto the canvas. Most commissions take 4 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on complexity and queue. I will send you an email with progress pictures when I am about 90% done. Yay! |

Delivery When your piece is finished, you'll receive final photos for approval. The remaining balance is collected, and your artwork ships in professional packaging to anywhere in the contiguous United States. |
Every Commission is completed with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed and wired on the back of the piece ready to hang.
When you're ready- reach out! I am looking forward to be part of your story.
